Teploměr z láhve. / The thermometer from the bottle.

The thermometer from the bottle.

It was originally meant to be a bottle barometer. However, for the understanding and comprehensible observation of atmospheric pressure work, the temperature of the air both outside the bottle and inside the bottle serves. So a thermometer was created. Of course, it is necessary to calibrate it – write the temperature according to a good thermometer. It is possible to create a sufficient scale with a large range from minus to very hot.
It can be experimented throughout the year. The thermometer should be placed in a permanent place.
A condition for measuring atmospheric pressure is a shaded place with a constant daily temperature. As the temperature affects membrane expansion from the balloon.
I found the tutorial in the Boys Life Magazine (World).
