Stanovení světových stran v přírodě.

V současné době, je jednoduché stanovit svou polohu pomocí GPS, mobilního telefonu, nebo jiné technické vymoženosti. 

V dřívějších dobách nám musela stačit busola a mapa. Práci s busolou a mapou se učila i ve Skautských oddílech. Teď se od této znalosti pomalu ustupuje, což není dobře. 

Nemalou měrou je znalost určení Světových stran pomocí hodinek a pozorováním přírody. To už dokážou jen někteří Skauti a lidé pohybující se v přírodě, nebo v ní přímo žijící.

In earlier times, we needed a compass and a map. Working with the compass and the map was also learned in the Scouts sections. Now he is slowly retreating from this knowledge, which is not good.
