Tisk je proces reprodukce textů a obrazů na papír nebo jiný materiál pomocí tiskové barvy a formy, která se přenáší pod tlakem nebo digitálně. Rozlišuje se tradiční (analogový) tisk s tiskovou formou (např. ofset nebo hlubotisk) a moderní digitální tisk, který přenáší data přímo z počítače bez nutnosti tiskové desky. V přeneseném významu slovo „tisk“ označuje také masová média, jako jsou noviny a časopisy.

Printing is the process of reproducing text and images on paper or other material using ink and a form that is transferred under pressure or digitally. A distinction is made between traditional (analog) printing with a printing form (e.g. offset or gravure) and modern digital printing, which transfers data directly from a computer without the need for a printing plate. In a figurative sense, the word „printing“ also refers to mass media such as newspapers and magazines.
